Creative writing workshops for pre-teens and teens

  • Spring session start date: April 15, 2024

  • Summer session start date: July 8, 2024

Our workshops create a safe space to unleash your imagination and bring your stories to life (google doc). Each class feels like a small community of writers coming together.

We discuss short stories that we read, work on prompts in class, and during the week, provide feedback that empowers your little one to write more.

You don't become a better writer by using correct punctuation and grammar; that's what editors are for. You become a great writer by letting your imagination flow and learning how to articulate that in a voice that is merely yours.

It all begins with knowing. I always knew I wanted to write, whether it was books, articles, website content, but just write. I started writing short stories at the age of 8. My career then led me to do content for brands like Audible, T-Mobile, Thrive Global, Laureate, Crater, Mulberry, and more.

Then, I released my first book, For the Love of Laxmi, in 2022, which became a bestseller and was sold at major retailers like Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and others.

Writing is where my soul is, and I truly believe writing is about unleashing your wildest imagination without fear of judgment. I hope to cultivate that community with Little Story Weavers.
